The story takes place in the grand residence of Caleb’s boss, a genius programmer who works at BlueBook, one of the largest high-tech companies in the world. While his boss warmly welcomes him home to congratulate him, the house lost in the middle of the mountain becomes the scene of an unusual spectacle. The leader of BlueBook makes Caleb a disturbing experience: he lives for a few days with an artificial intelligence that takes on the traits of a young woman named Ava. Ex Machina is an excellent film that challenges the notion of humanity.

Mortal Engines is a film released in December 2018 directed by Christian Rivers and written by Peter Jackson. The two accomplices were known for being instrumental in and/or overseeing the trilogies of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Mortal Engines plunges us into the heart of a post-apocalyptic steampunk world. In this dystopian future, humans live in cities that take the form of giant mobile machines that relentlessly plunder the planet. Tom Nasworthy from the slums of the nomadic city of London meets the fugitive Hester Shaw. The two characters will experience adventures that will lead them to change the face of the world.
