Bungie’s unannounced new PvP title is rumored to be a character-focused third-person action game.
Bungie, creators of the Halo and Destiny universes, have been working on an unannounced new multiplayer game for some time.
In the past there were first indications that this is a competitive PvP title that also focuses on eSports.
Two new job postings on the developer’s careers page now provide new clues that further complete the picture of what kind of game this is.
According to this, the project seems to be a third-person action game in which the characters play an important role. Because, according to the description, they are looking for someone with “experience in working on character-focused third-person action games (jump’n’run, isometric, etc.)” who also has “knowledge of the competitive gaming landscape/eSports”.
For the position of Contract Level Designer, they are still looking for someone who has ideas for map layouts and who can quickly conceive and implement a corresponding level design in the form of a prototype in the engine.
In addition, the “experience in building and developing a multiplayer level for a PVP game” is one of the necessary skills.
