Lost Ark Roadmap Revealed – Destroyer, Arcanist, Nanfern and new raids are on the way!

Arcanist, ARK, destroyer, Lost, Nanfern, raids, revealed, Roadmap

Just a few weeks after its Western release, lost ark got a Content Roadmap in the next three months. From this reveal, we now know the full range of new content coming to the game in the near future, including New story content, new raids, subclasses and more.

This all comes with the first wave of stable content being added to the game, as the Western version is further boosted to the current state of the game in Korean and Russian. As such, we can expect an infusion of similar content in the coming months.

New Storylines and Continents

For those eager to learn more about the next chapter in the Lost Ark narrative, you’ll be happy to hear that we’re getting a new collection of stories in March. It all revolves around finding Cardan and introduces new quests and islands to explore. If you want to experience it when it’s released, you’ll obviously have to be fully engrossed in the current story content, so be sure to do it ASAP!

We’re also getting a new continent – South Fern – which players will be able to explore in April. To understand what’s going on in this mysterious world, you have to hold on tight in a few months.

New Classes – Destroyer and Warlock

Those looking for an excuse to upgrade new characters won’t have to wait long, as we’ll be rolling out new subclasses over the next three months. The first is the Destroyer, a hammer-wielding warrior subclass that will launch in April. The Destroyer is able to deal massive damage to enemies with massive gravity-altering attacks, pushing and pulling enemies all over the place as they shatter waves of enemies.

After that, Archanist will drop in May. This mage sub-class is all about using special magic cards to destroy enemies. Unlike other classes, the Archanist has a lot of RNG elements, as each time they fill up their unique card gauge, a powered card with random stats can be pulled to devastating effect.

new raid

We’ll be rolling out a ton of new raid content over the next three months, all for players who have gone through the currently available options. The first is the next Abyssal Raid, where eight players will have to fight Guardians that are much stronger than typical Guardian Raid encounters. The Abyssal Raid has three phases, so groups looking for some big PvE content can look forward to March.

Fast forward to April and the new Valtain Legion Raid will be released. Legion raids are large and challenging group content that requires understanding mechanics to progress, just like traditional MMORPG raids. We’ll have more information closer to the release date, but players looking forward to this new addition may want to start preparing for their character now.

For those looking for some smaller updates, we’re also getting a new Guardian Raid with Deskaluda in April. This challenge requires Item Level 1415, so make sure you hit at least that milestone before it appears.

Come May, we’ll have another Guardian Raid in the form of Kungelanium. This boss requires a slightly higher item level of 1465 to take down, so you’d better keep your fingers crossed and hope for a gear upgrade in the month between updates.

Finally, May also brings the second Legion raid with Vykas. As before, you’ll need to bring a total of eight players familiar with raids to complete this endgame event.

Proving Grounds PvP Season 1

While we have been able to handle PvP since launch, there is currently no reliable ranking system. This change will come in March, as a dedicated ranking system is coming, which will allow players to strive for higher and higher rankings among their peers.

To participate after this release, you’ll need to teach Tier 1 and participate in the Proving Grounds, so if you want to get ranked ASAP, make sure you’ve done so.

Throne Spire

Finally, come May, we’ll get a new tower for a valuable reward. You’ll need Item Level 1325 to participate in this new floor selection, but thanks to the plethora of prizes you’ll get by clearing it, reaching this milestone is well worth the effort.
