When the giant USG Ishimura spacecraft discovers an alien remnant in a remote star system, it mysteriously loses all contact with Earth. An engineer named Isaac Clarke is then sent aboard the Ishimura to repair the ship’s communications system. Above all, what will distinguish the 2008 version from the new one is the more recent graphics, with a title recreated under the Battlefield engine, the Frosbite. And no cross-gen compromise, the game will only be available on PS5, Xbox series and PC. The gameplay will also be reworked to keep the experiences from Dead Space 2 and 3. The zero gravity sequences will be the first to benefit, and the dismemberments promise to be bloodier than ever.
