Kobby, Alvida, Arlong…six new actors confirmed for One Piece
Still at an unknown date planned the series Live action One Piece is currently being produced by Netflix. Experience the gigantic constructions of the saga’s flagship boats like the Fashion Happy and the red power. Further evidence of the series’ progress are the new cast members announced by the Twitter page last night Netflix Geeked. A total of six new actors join the shooting: Morgan Davies (The bad death) for Koby, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino (College Girls Sex Life) for Alvida, Aidan Scott (action point) for Hermep, Jeff Ward (Chop) for Buggy the Clown, McKinley Belcher III (Ozark) for Arlong and Vincent Regan (Troy) for Garp. All of these actors therefore join Inaki Godoy (Luffy), Mackenyu (Zorro), Jacob Gibson (Pipo), Emily Rudd (Nami) and Taz Skylar (Sandy/Sanji).

And this casting announcement raises questions about the cover of the manga produced by this live-action adaptation. If it was likely to go to Arlong Park (vol. 11), it should include a bit more manga since the character of Garp has to appear there. However, he doesn’t appear until Chapter 92 for the first time: it’s just after the Arlong Park story arc. However, it is still impossible to determine whether the events of lodge city is narrated by the series as certain characters (Tashigi or Smoker to name a few) that have become flagships do not yet have an assigned actor.
No doubt they will probably appear in a possible second season of the series that is not yet formalized or guaranteed to see the light of day: Cowboy Bebop, animated flagship of the 90s directed by Watanabe, did not have much success in the adaptation last year in Live action series… As a reminder, the One Piece series has no official date yet and will be available on Netflix at launch.
