Spring Games Spotlight 2022 – Over 40 new games for Xbox

Most people associated gaming in 2022 with the epic February we just had. Thing is, March looks just as good (if not better)! To celebrate all of the amazing new content coming to Xbox this spring, our team has curated our new releases in the Spring Games in the spotlight. We’re excited to bring you a ton of new digital games every week for five weeks. Our team will release more than 40 titles between March 8th and April 11th. The Microsoft Rewards promotion we offer every year for Summer Spotlight is so popular that we’re reintroducing it for Spring Games Spotlight. Spend $50 on eligible titles and get 5,000 Microsoft Rewards points. Here are a few Spring Games Spotlight titles that are either currently available or coming soon to get you set for an amazing season of gaming.


  • tunic – Tunic was on E3 outstanding Announced way back in 2018, it has since released a few demos that land the game on most indie fans’ list of most anticipated games of 2022. tunic is an action-adventure about a little fox in a big world. Explore the wilderness, discover spooky ruins and fight terrifying creatures from a bygone era. tunic is a console launch exclusive and will be released on March 16th.
  • paper shredder – Other E3 outstanding, paper shredder is the ultimate snowboarding game made by riders for riders. Break into the snowboarding event of the year to pull off one of the craziest tricks imaginable, all in hopes of winning a wildcard entry into an exclusive invitational tournament. To prove you’re up to the challenge, master the art of park riding, buttering, rails and massive kickers and earning your place in the snowboarding world. paper shredder is a console launch exclusive and available on day one with Xbox Game Pass, releasing on March 17th.
  • MLB The Show 2022MLB The Show landed on Xbox last year and was an instant hit with Xbox fans. MLB The Show 2022 takes last year’s title even further. Create and use multiple ballers beyond your personalized Road to the Show baseball RPG experience and customize your ballers as you wish to aid your progression. Face off against your friends with cross-platform and progressive play. Getting on the plate for the first time? Customize your experience with playstyles and two new difficulty levels to help you master the basics. MLB The Show 2022 is available on day one with Xbox Game Pass and launches on April 5th.
  • RPG Time: The Legend of Wright – Let’s stick to our topic E3 Announced Titles release this month, RPG time comes to Xbox from a wonderful team in Japan. The game puts you in the shoes of a boy who dreams of becoming a game developer. While the game’s title includes the term “RPG”, players will soon be playing games other than the hand-drawn role-playing game on a notebook: a world of cardboard and stationery scattered across a desk will also prompt players to play action, adventure , side bring -scrolling shooters and even commando fighting games! RPG time is a passion project that took nine years to develop and will be released on March 10th exclusively for the console.
  • young soulsyoung souls is a beautiful 2D brawler meets action-packed action RPG. Battle hordes of warlike goblins, level up with hundreds of weapons and accessories, explore and travel between worlds as rebellious twins fight their way to rescue their foster father. young souls is available on day one with Xbox Game Pass and launches on March 10th.
