FUT Champions in FIFA 22
The optional mode FIFA 22 Ultimate Team (FUT) offers you many special cards that you get from card packs (“packs”) or on the transfer market. As a rule, these special cards offer better values than the normal gold cards and are therefore particularly popular.
They are only available in packs for a limited time. It is therefore worth keeping an overview of current and upcoming FIFA 22 events. So please keep checking back.
FIFA 22 FUT Events with the TOTW
Every week there are special cards in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.
FUT Birthday
EA is celebrating 13 years of Ultimate Team with the event FUT Birthday in FIFA 22. A first team with special cards is already available for this. The respective players have increased stats and also a 5-star upgrade in “weak foot” or “special moves”.
Additionally, if you log into FUT once before March 18th, you will receive an untradeable Rare Player Pack.

The Team of the Week (TOTW) event occurs every seven days. Every Wednesday afternoon, EA should present the top picks of the best players from different leagues. These special cards are so-called “in-form” cards with enhanced stats. You can also recognize them by the black background color.
For a week after the team’s release, you’ll have the ability to draw TOTW players from card packs. The cards are also usually traded at high prices on the transfer market.

Of course there is also the Weekend League (FUT Champions). If you get enough wins, you can expect good rewards like coins, packs and FUT Champions special cards. However, prior to a Weekend League, you must have accumulated enough qualifying points in Division Rivals (2,000) to participate.
