SQUARE ENIX has announced that it will release in FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Patch 5.2 on February 18, as revealed in the new success.
The progression of pool 5.2, called Echoes of a Fallen Star, provides a glimpse into the many new features and challenges awaiting players in this critical review of the third expansion criticized by MMO critics, Shadowbringer.
In addition to the advance, producer and director Naoki Yoshida revealed new details of the content the players will receive in pool 5.2:
- New equipment for the main conditions: The announced story of the Shighbringers continues, while the Warrior of the Dark and Scions of the Seventh Dawn await the time when Crystal Exarch can return home.
- The New Attack: The Eden Verse: The second chapter of the Eden attack series will bring new battles and challenges to both the challenges and difficulties of the field. Eden Venis also features the character of Gaia, which was developed by the famous FINAL FANTASY engineer, Tetsuya Nomura.
- A new prisoner: Anamnesis Anyder: face this new challenge with other swimmers or character players without players using the Trust system.
- New experiments: Cinder Drift: players can challenge Ruby's weapon in standard difficulty and size.
- On a new Beast Nation trip: Qitari will offer new equipment targeted to Earth students' classes.
- New Era Chronicles Searching for «Werlyt's Tribulation» – Find the story behind a series of new weapons. Sea fishing: this Fisher's exclusive content will allow players to sail from time to time to enjoy marine fishing, experience and documentation based on catches. Meeting certain conditions during the ride will give all the passengers a chance to experience a good visit.
- Ishgardian Restoration Review (patch 5.21): The next update of this Hand and My Reader content will introduce the content collected by Diwali collectors, advanced hands-on challenges, new classification system and more.
- Series for developing a new group "Resistance Weapon" (Patch 5.25): This new series of investigations will feature periodic updates from Patch 5.2 onwards, which will allow players to find a stronger team as they learn more about Hrothgar's world, the Bozja Citadel.
- Game settings: Players can expect to see various settings in Tasks, PvP Tasks and the new game + plus a few updates from Crafter and Gatherer.
