As promised, EA Motive provided more insights into the remake of the space horror game Dead Space over the weekend and even narrowed down the release period.
Apparently things are going well with Dead Space. Good enough to give another insight into the remake last weekend and to focus on the revision of the audio qualities, which at least have a significant impact on the atmosphere of the game.
EA Motive also dropped some statements about the release period. Accordingly, the team is currently planning a release in early 2023, albeit without naming a specific date. However, the team is confident of actually making this appointment and launching the game on time for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The current status is that the team will be conducting a first full internal walkthrough of the game in the coming weeks. The current state of the game is the pre-alpha.
At the beginning of May, another stream for the game will follow, which will primarily focus on the art design. Until then, you can enjoy the new in-game scenes, and they really don’t look bad. The complete, approximately 50-minute stream you can take a look at it on YouTube.
