We’ve got tons of new details about what’s coming Warframe Content Patches – Angel ZarimanAs the next step up from the special New Wars update that rolled out last December, one of the biggest loose ends is exploration through new missions, new mission types, and a quirky center for players to hang out.
Plus, a new Warframe is coming! Thanks to a new trailer embedded below, not only do we have a broad overview of what the Gyre framework can do, we can also try out customizing the system with Void Shells extensions. All in all, there is a lot to look forward to in April.
Let’s start with the new quest content. The Angel of Zariman brings a smaller mission to the game, and players will be able to venture to the Zariman X-Zero ship that is heavily featured in the new war narrative. For story demons invested in Warframe characters, this ship is a very important aspect of the lore – as it is where the Tenno player controls gain power.
The new Gyre frame, which utilizes powerful electric shocks to destroy enemies, has been briefly demonstrated. While we know what they’re all about, any details about specific abilities and scaling, signature weapons, and customization options are still a mystery at this time.
Next up is Zariman Ten itself, which will offer customizable player apartments for players to own and decorate their hearts! This will hopefully provide some much-needed space for Warframe players who have long used overly cluttered orbiters. Not only that, but the ship has a new hub area called Chrysalith, similar to many of the relay stations in the game. Here, players can find NPCs with their own side quests that they can sneak into.
For those of you who are more into stylish frames than Warframe right now, this new update could bring a new feature that will revolutionize your paintings. Void Shell Skins will allow textures on materials and tints to be applied to Warframes and set to be earned through in-game assets and microtransactions, although we’re currently not sure how this will work.
We also got more quest types! Void Quests will come to Warframe in three different flavors – Void Flood, Void Cascade and Void Armageddon. These all focus on collecting void orbs from the map and enemies, which are then used to close rifts scattered across the map. In a sense, it’s similar to a survival mission, but with a more aggressive goal rather than a defensive one.
This all comes with evolving weapons, minor quality-of-life changes, revamps of Excalibur’s enemies, and a new Nora Nightwave season. While we’re waiting on some key details, the actual release date is the most pressing of them all, but it’s clear there’s a lot to explore when Angel of Zariman goes live.
