a new one Eldon Ring The patch – which upgrades the game to version 1.03, which can now be downloaded and installed – has made a series of changes to the game that could drastically alter your experience.

One of the main changes in the patch is the introduction of NPC markers, which you can see on the game’s smallest (and rather useless) map. Before, it was easy to forget the various quests you’ll be doing in the world – even leading us to create a series of Elden Ring guides to help you. According to the new patch, though, it should be less confusing for players eager to chase down NPCs and continue their various storylines.

Excitingly, this update also adds a new character to the game, named Jar-Bair. Could this lead to some kind of Elden Ring DLC? It remains to be seen. Given that FromSoft wants to turn the game into more projects, it makes sense for developers to start seeding new content now, right?

This update also adds new mission stages for Diallos, Nepheli Loux, Kenneth Haight, and Gatekeeper Gostoc. Perfectionists, take note.

Some witchcraft has been buffed, which is an interesting option since some players already think they are too powerful. You’ll find that various spells now consume less FP and deal more damage. Time to try that magic, right?

If you’ve been relying on subpoenas to help you with boss fights, you’ll almost be shocked to learn that FromSoft has fixed a handy little bug. According to the patch notes, the studio has “fixed a bug that prevented summoned NPCs from taking damage during certain boss fights”. Additionally, FromSoft states that it “reduces the damage of spirits summoned when using Mimic Tear Ash” and “changes the behavior pattern of spirits”. RIP to a real one.

Besides that, once you install the new patch, you may experience fewer bugs and glitches. Most notably, scaling has fixed some buggy weapons – meaning they should now work correctly with your stats.
