Microsoft recently held one again [email protected] Showcase, where smaller games take center stage. Seven more new additions to the Xbox Game Pass were also confirmed.

yesterday’s [email protected] Showcase brought with it a series of announcements for the indie Xbox platforms, as well as those related to the popular Xbox Game Pass. Seven more titles have now been confirmed for Microsoft’s game subscription.

Biggest surprise: With Tunic and Paradise Killer, there are already two new games in the Game Pass – both were released directly on the occasion of the showcase and can now be played by all subscribers as a day-one release.

In addition, there are the seven other titles that have been confirmed for the format. Among them is Sam Barlow’s (Telling Lies, Her Story) new game called Immortality, which will once again feature live-action sequences. Next up is Escape Academy, a first-person escape room experience that also features two-player online co-op.

While these two titles were completely re-announced, the other five games were already public but have now been confirmed for Game Pass as well. As well as the previously mentioned Paradise Killer, three titles come from the publisher Fellow Traveler: the magic school simulation Kraken Academy, the adventure Beacon Pines and the narrative sci-fi RPG Citizen Sleeper. Kraken Academy will start on March 22nd, the other two titles do not have a release date yet.

The remaining two titles are Humble Games’ cybernoir adventure Chinatown Detective Agency and cartoon-style tactical combat title Floopy Knights.
