That Microsoft is interested in having its streaming service anywhere is a fact. The company has already made it clear several times that it will take Xbox Game Pass where it can and leave it, so the news today wasn’t that weird either after all.
Additionally, Valve and Microsoft have a long history of getting along, with positive statements from Newell and the arrival of Xbox Game Studios games in the “rival” store. You could say that it is not a romantic relationship, but a good symbiosis.
Xbox Cloud Gaming moves to Steam Deck
Now it’s Steam Deck’s turn, Spencer himself said that Valve I did a great job with this machine, and worked with Steam officials to categorize and optimize the company’s games for the handheld where possible.
Now we have to add a new collaboration, which is that Cloud Gaming can also be run on Steam Dreck through an optimized version of the Edge browser. On the part of the company, they claim to have worked closely with Valve to guarantee the proper functioning of the service.

To use the service on Deck, you will need to install the Linux beta version of the Edge browser. You can follow the official instructions left by Microsoft on Reddit by Edge.
