A new update is available for the MagentaTV app on the MagentaTV Stick and the One-Box. These problems with streaming should finally be a thing of the past.

- MagentaTV app version 1.52.4 has been available since March 15th.
- MagentaTV Stick and MagentaTV One remain more stable in the WLAN.
- The new “Book channels” button now makes it easier to book additional programs.
Improved login processes for the MagentaTV stick and MagentaTV One, a more stable WiFi connection and the additional display of add-on options: The new software version 1.52.4 fixes some errors and adds new functions to the MagentaTV app.
The new “To the channel” button can be used to switch from the TV detail page directly to live TV. The new, self-explanatory “Book channel” button also makes it easier to book channels.
In addition, an annoying error in the video-on-demand area has been fixed: The “Play” button is now displayed everywhere without any problems. And redeeming discount codes when buying VOD content should finally work.
With the MagentaTV update 1.52.4, the TV stick and the One-Box should find their way back to the WLAN much faster after a connection loss.
MagentaTV: This is how you carry out the update
To determine whether you already have the latest software version of the MagentaTV app, you can view the “Client Version” in the settings under “My device” > “MagentaTV settings” > “System”. You can also find the update option under “MagentaTV Settings” in the “Software Update” section.
If you use the MagentaTV box or one of the media receivers, select the menu item “Media Receiver” under “Settings” and click through “System information” and “System” to any updates.
