Ghostbusters have had a very low profile in the gaming world recently. A remaster of the 2009 game hit modern platforms a few years ago. and the franchise had guest appearances on Fortnite and Rocket League. But it’s time to “call someone” to bring something completely new. Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed will be a four-on-one asymmetric multiplayer title in the same style as the popular Dead by Daylight.
This title is the work of Illfonic, a studio that has already made another game of the same type with another very popular eighties franchise. We talk about Predator: Hunting Grounds.

As you may have noticed, the game Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed will feature familiar faces. Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson) and Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd) will appear, but they won’t be playable. Instead we are going to control a rookie ghost hunter… or a ghost who faces the other four players.
The game Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed It doesn’t have a definite release date yet, but we know that will be available the last quarter of 2022. It will have versions for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X | S and for PC through the Epic Games Store.
