Ubisoft has one prince of persia A game in the works, separate from the delayed Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake.
That’s according to Xfire leaker Tom Henderson, who has learned from sources that a second Prince of Persia title is reportedly in the works. According to Henderson, Ubisoft Montpellier is involved in the project, which is said to be “inspired by Ori” and will be a 2.5D game.
Henderson said details were slim, but hoped to reveal more soon.
The Xfire report also states that Immortal Fenix Rise In progress. The game is currently in pre-production and may be in the hands of Ubisoft Quebec, which is also busy working on a new Assassin’s Creed game.
According to reports, Ubisoft is planning a bigger showcase that will discuss about 20 new and already-released games.
Currently, Ubisoft is developing “Skull and Bones”, “Avatar: Pandora’s Frontier”, “The Division”, “Assassin’s Creed: Infinite”, “Ghost Recon: Battlefront”, “XDefiant”, “Mario + Rabbi” Germany, Fire of Hope, Roller Champions, Beyond Good and Evil 2, Splinter Cell Remake, and the mobile division.
Other games said to be in development by many of Ubisoft’s studio divisions are Crew 3 (Project Orlando) and Assassin’s Creed: Rift.
It’s unclear when the showcase will air, but sources say Ubisoft is planning to hold it ahead of E3, but the recent world event may have put plans on hold.
