Apex Legends is currently in its 12th season, titled Resistance. As always, it brings interesting news, which is already current every three months. Highlights include the new Legend, Maggie, and a new rework of the Olympus map, which seems to have literally “fallen” into another dimension. In addition, the addition of a new temporary team battle mode very similar to the “Domination” we are used to, closed the usual list.
But many of these changes and new things are usually anticipated by the dataminer on duty, people who dig into the game’s code to find out what’s to come. In this case, we know by CharlieIntelwhich Reddit user 5849373 leaked tons of information about the game, including 15 gameplay videos from what appears to be an internal developer build, with lots of unfinished material.
Legends are coming to Apex Legends
The most striking thing is the number of legends leaked, as their number increases to 9 characters, some, as you can see in the video above, even who do not yet have a model. And we are not going to describe each of them exactly, but from many we can even observe their passive, tactical and final abilities. The names are as follows and their description (in order of appearance):
- Conduct (Empathic Protector)
- Scryer (Haunting Stalker)
- Newcastle (mobile defender)
- Uplink (Satellite Survivor)
- Vantage (survivalist sniper)
- Catalyst (Creative Builder)
- Ghost (agile assassin)
- Jester (cunning trapper)
- Caliber (Apex Arms Dealer)
Of these, the one who appears to be fully modeled and complete is Newcastle, a defense-focused legend who could be the contender for next season. But we don’t just have the characters, in the original reddit post we can see an entire thread with all the information pulled out, including a new map, called Divided Moon, two new weapons, and even new arena modes.
