Ubisoft is offering a free weekend for those interested in trying it out Far Cry 6.
The game will be free to play tomorrow (March 24-March 27) on PlayStation, Xbox and PC via the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store. The game and its DLC are also included with Ubisoft+ subscriptions on PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna.
New players can preload the game starting today, which will provide access to the full game, including any free downloads released at the start of the free weekend. All progress will carry over to the full game after purchase.
The game is also on sale. From now until the end of March, you can get 40% off as part of the Ubisoft Store’s Spring Sale. Far Cry 6 is also part of Xbox’s sale of the week, with all editions 50% off between now and March 28. The Standard and Gold editions also get the same discount through the PlayStation Store, and you can also get a 35% off season pass. As part of the Epic Games Store Spring Sale, all editions are 50% off, and season passes are 35% off. The Epic Games Store is also offering 35% off Vaas: Insanity DLC and 25% off Pagan: Control DLC.
From now until March 31st, Stadia users can get 50% off the Standard, Gold and Ultimate Editions, 40% off the Deluxe Edition and 35% off the Season Pass.
Since its release on October 7, Far Cry 6 has added new Special Ops, free Danny Trejo and Rambo crossover missions, and three major episodes of downloadable content as part of the Season Pass, including: Vaas: Insanity, Pagan : Control and Joseph : Collapse.

A new free Stranger Things crossover quest called The Vanishing launches tomorrow, March 24th. In this stealth horror survival game experience, you’ll encounter mysterious characters and new legends as you enter the Upside-Down-inspired “twisted version of Yara”.
Here, Dani discovers that the Yarans are disappearing and no one is safe, not even Chorizo. With the DLC, you’ll be able to explore Stranger Things-inspired locations, such as hidden bunkers and abandoned laboratories. Dani’s mission is to find Chorizo and find out the whereabouts of the kidnapped Yarans. It also comes with new skins for the flamethrower and shotgun.
