In partnership with The LEGO Group, Thunderful reveals lego blocksa new digital adventure game from Clockstone, the developer of the Bridge Constructor series.

In it, you’ll travel through a series of diorama biomes built from LEGO bricks and engage in a storyline building your own solutions to the game’s various puzzles.

In LEGO Bricktales, there are five LEGO-themed biomes where you’ll use brick-by-brick construction mechanics to solve puzzles and bring your solutions to life. You can build aesthetic creations like market stalls and music boxes, or even functional physics-based puzzles like building cranes and gyroplanes.

Five biomes include jungles, deserts, city corners, medieval castles and tropical Caribbean islands.

In each diorama, there are LEGO minifigures that need your help and opportunities to unlock new skills. As you explore the environment, you’ll find various building locations with their own bricks. You will need to figure out a unique build that works. You’ll be asked to help with things like designing a hat, building a throne or testing your engineering skills in building bridges.

“After more than two years, it’s incredible to finally announce the work we’ve been working on behind closed doors. We’re honored to have the opportunity to work with the world’s largest toy brand,” said Dieter Schoeller, VP of Publishing at Thunderful. “With LEGO Bricktales, our mission is to unearth what makes LEGO games so special. Our intuitive block-by-block building mechanics allow players to interact with LEGO bricks in video games, just like these toys have inspired people’s imaginations for decades Strength is the same as creativity.”

“Everyone loves LEGO bricks, and we are no exception, so we’re really excited to have the opportunity to make LEGO video games,” said Tri Do Dinh, Game Designer at Clockstone. “We hope you enjoyed your first look at LEGO bricks and had a great time digging into the game’s story, sandbox mode, unlockable abilities, and more.”
