The serial implementation of Halo on Paramount + (Sky in this country) started on March 24th. Apparently the effort was worth it, at least the first 24 hours were very successful.
Paramount+ can look forward to a successful launch of the recently launched Halo series. The series has reportedly set a new record for the most-watched series premiere on Paramount+ in its first 24 hours. According to this, Halo ousted 1883 from the first place and reached at least more than 4.9 million viewers, the previous peak.
Of course, it remains to be seen whether this is just a flash in the pan and whether the viewers will turn away from the upcoming episodes, or whether they will stay with it. Come as it may, a second season has already been announced. This was confirmed by Paramount+ back in February. One can now look forward to concrete figures and how the number of viewers will develop.
Paramount+ now has over 32 million subscribers, so there’s still a lot to come. However, the fact that the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is currently offering a free month at Paramount+ on the occasion of the start of the series may also have contributed to the good start.
