Sony Interactive Entertainment introduces the new PS Plus, merging with PlayStation Now. There will therefore be three formulas: Essential, Extra and Premium at different prices.
The announcement was imminent and it’s coming to the “free” game leak on the day of April 2022, here it is new playstation plus. From now on there is only one subscription, but a varied price list, with various advantages at each level. A change that will take place by the summer of 2022.
Added Fusion and Hit games
As the rumor has it, PlayStation Now will be swallowed up by PS Plus, giving you access to the game in streaming in addition to the titles offered monthly. It means that too PS Now will no longer be available as a standalone service.
Today we’re excited to officially announce changes to both of our subscription services. in the month of June, We will be merging PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now into a brand new PlayStation Plus subscription serviceoffering more choice to customers around the world through three subscription tiers.
When this version of PlayStation Plus launches, you can enjoy the following games: God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Returnal or Death Stranding. There will also be fights with Mortal Kombat 11 and other third-party games in the future:
When the service launches, we plan to include games like Death Stranding, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Mortal Kombat 11, and Returnal. We work closely with the creative developers at PlayStation Studios and our third party partners to provide some of the best gaming experiences along with an ever-growing library. Very soon we will bring you new details about the games we will be offering as part of the new PlayStation Plus service.
Release, price and formulas of the new PlayStation Plus
the new department PSPlus will be available from June 2022 with three formulas : Significant, extra and bonus. And here are all the details to remember.
- PS+ Essential
Price : $8.99 per month / $24.99 per quarter / $59.99 per year
Services : free games every month, exclusive discounts, cloud storage and access to multiplayer. In other words, it’s the service as it currently exists
- PS+ extra
Price : $13.99 per month / $39.99 per quarter / $99.99 per year
Services : the entire Essentials range + a selection of around 400 PS5 and PS4 titles from PlayStation Studios and third parties, playable via PS Now or via local download
- PS+ Premium
Price : $16.99 per month / $49.99 per quarter / $119.99 per year
Services : the combination Essential + Extra with About 340 PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP games Additionally. PlayStation 3 apps are obviously limited to the cloud, but PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable titles will be downloadable. Finally there is Trial versions of games to test before you buy
