All Netflix users who use the service on the TV, either through a linked app or Apple TV, or a computer, will have realized that the content view starts automatically. Depending on the platform, this feature was integrated to help users decide what to see.
However, there are many users who consider it quite annoying. Waiting for a few seconds is enough for the app to start playing preview of a series, movie or documentary, and those of Netflix share more details of the building requirements, which may make us look at a destroyer. Fortunately, it is already possible to get the job working.

Netflix shared a dedicated help page specifically to disable auto playback. These the steps to follow:
- Come in on Netflix from a web browser.
- Select Manage profiles menu
- Select the profile you would like to update.
This is not a global option., that is, it can be left active on one profile and active on another. Netflix warns that it may take some time for the change in settings to take effect, or the update may be forced by switching to another profile and then back to ours. Another option is to disable auto playback for the next episode of the series.
