In the German gaming charts, Kirby hits the ground running on the Nintendo Switch. The second strongest physical release is currently Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
It’s round, pink, loves to travel – and has been really successful for 30 years. On the occasion of his big anniversary, Nintendo has given the jump ‘n’ run hero Kirby a brand new adventure in which the bustling fluffy ball has to defeat a nasty pack of beasts.
Players will find out whether he succeeds at number one in the official German switch charts, determined by GfK Entertainment, where Kirby and the forgotten land lands from a standing start. Buddy Mario respectfully makes way and now parks second with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
The second strongest physical release is currently Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. The wacky RPG shooter is a spin-off of the popular Borderlands series and, thanks to different versions, blasts into positions one (Xbox One), two and three (Xbox Series), two and four (PS5) or four and five (PS4). The launch edition of Elden Ring remains the best-selling PS5 and Xbox Series title, while Gran Turismo 7 continues to slow down the competition in the PS4 ranking. The other frontrunners are Pokémon Ultra Sun (3DS) and Farming Simulator 22 (PC).
