Minecraft fans want the promised (and discontinued) Minecraft graphics upgrade including ray tracing. The ray tracing demo was presented back in March 2020 and Minecraft players have been asking for this upgrade ever since.
Accidental prototype code recently caused a ray-tracing entry in the Xbox Series X preview version of Minecraft, and console gamers had high hopes that the Super Duper graphics upgrade was finally here. But this entry was just a mistake, as Microsoft announced shortly afterwards. Still, the Minecraft fans remain persistent, not idle and have one petition openedasking Microsoft and Mojang to finish the Super Duper graphics pack.
