After a long break in broadcasting, there is news about eFootball 2022: A major update is intended to significantly improve the gameplay and introduce a new mode.
On September 30, 2021, the free-to-play title eFootball 2022 was launched as the PES successor. But what Konami put in front of football fans at the time was shockingly bad (our special on eFootball 2022). Around six months and a major shift later, it is now clear when the first major update will appear and what content it will bring with it.
Version v1.0.0 is scheduled to be released as early as April 14th – and thus in a week. The focus is on (much needed) improvements to the gameplay: According to Konami, dribbling, passes and shots, defensive actions and the reaction behavior of the players have been revised.
Also new is the Dream Team mode (formerly Creative Team). Similar to the FIFA Ultimate Team, here you build your dream team from different kickers. You then lead them onto the field against other teams. However, Konami still has no further details about the mode. A new trailer is also in short supply, so we’re closing this message with an old one – and the hope that eFootball will still get the curve.
