Elden Ring may be developer Fromsoftware’s most beginner-friendly Souls game yet, but some bosses are still a nuisance. This includes General Radahn, who is a really great and at the same time tragic figure. But what does he not tell you? He was never allowed to take swimming lessons before – and with that in mind, fighting him can become almost trivial.

But there is even a corner easier, like that Reddit user HomeGrownCrown7 figured out. This requires a bit of preparatory work, but after that Radahn literally falls into the cold water forever.
This is how you let Radahn jump into the water
We don’t want to reveal much about Radahn himself at this point, but let it be said: his appearance in Redmane Castle is probably one of the most exciting moments in the entire game. This is ensured on the one hand by the staging, on the other hand by the fight itself, because Radahn hands out properly. So much that the developers weakened it in the meantime, only to make it stronger again.
If you still despair of Radahn, you can the boss’s greatest weakness exploit: Deep waters. But first you have to bring the boss to about half of his life points. In the best case, use everything that is available to you: summon allies, use the magic mentioned above or hit hard again and again.
When Radahn’s life bar approaches half, you have to try the boss with your horse lure to the edge of the arena – the sea is already waiting there. As soon as the boss uses his powerful meteor jump in the third phase, you wait for the explosive landing right in the water and roll away at the last second. Too heavy armor or just not able to swim: Whatever the reason why the mighty boss meets his end here, it makes no difference to you. the You will still get a reward for defeating Radahn and can then continue your journey through the Elden Ring.
