It could be one of the announcements to expect for the 20th anniversary event of the saga, but it was really hard to believe. Kingdom Hearts IV has been officially announced by Square Enix through an impressive first trailer with gameplay included.
Obviously, the great visual change that the franchise presents is very striking. We see a Sora with a changed model, almost taken from a cinematic but then fights in real time. The protagonist of the series finds himself in a flat in Quadrantum, an alternate world that appears to be a representation of Shibuya.
It is clear that we will continue what was seen in the Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind DLC, after the events in which Sora was transported to this place. A huge dark side threatens the city and its inhabitants, so the character decides to stand up to him. It seems that frenetic mobility will be the order of the day considering how fast we can move.
When will it arrive Kingdom Hearts IV to our screens? We don’t have an estimated release window yet. The development team has only indicated that they are working on it, in addition to the fact that we do not know what platforms it will see the light on.
