Lego and Star Wars fans alike were excited for the launch of Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and immediately gave the game the best start in the series.
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is just on the market and is already breaking the first records. The new title from TT Games has directly pulverized the number of players of all previous Lego titles on Steam.
According to Steam statistics, 82,512 players enjoyed the title at the same time. That doesn’t sound great at first glance, but it takes on another dimension when you consider that the previous leader in the series only had 5,890 simultaneous players at launch – these were Lego Marvel Super Heroes. In view of the fact that the weekend is still to come, this number can definitely be topped in the next few days.
- Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (82.517)
- Lego Marvel Super Heroes (5.953)
- Lego The Hobbit (5.550)
- The Lego Ninjago Movie Videogame (5.434)
- Lego The Lord of the Rings (5.045)
- Lego Worlds (4.911)
- Lego Jurassic World (3.498)
- Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2.586)
- Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham (2.186)
- Lego Marvel’s Avengers (2.112)
Even compared to other Star Wars series, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga takes the lead and even surpasses the number of players in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order or Star Wars: Squadrons – by a significant margin.
Considering that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has still sold over 12 million copies, that’s pretty good news for TT Games. Quite rightly so, because according to our review of Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the game is really worthwhile.
