How to prepare for the Godskin Duo
If you have the Mimic Tear Ash summon, it’s an almost essential part of the Godskin Duo fight, as it’s great for distracting both enemies and can really hold its own if leveled up multiple times.
Additionally, we recommend using bleed or frost damage against the pair of bosses, but if you found the Frost Stomp Ash of War directly east of Caria Manor in a small lake, this is amazing for dealing consistent damage to the Godskin duo, despite the nerf affecting the attack’s cast time.
Godskin Duo Cheats: How to Beat Godskin Duo
It’s really important to say upfront that each Godskin Duo has its own health bar. When it reaches zero, that enemy will be down for the count but he can actually be recalled by his ally when they hold their finger up with black fire burning around it.
There’s no dedicated timer for either Godskin Duo to be recalled, but it’s paramount that you press attack while the other is dead, as they don’t stay dead forever .
What makes things more difficult is that Godskin Duo is a difficult pair to manage. The most common attack to watch out for is when the pair throw a black fire orb at you, which can be dodged by rolling to one side or the other when the orb itself is halfway towards you and still in the air.
Let’s tackle one Godskin Duo at a time. The biggest enemy carries a rapier, and has poor range with the weapon, chaining several stabs towards you. It can also cause the hilt of the sword to fall to the ground right in front of her.
The trick here is to watch the boss’ arm move back, and as soon as it moves forward, dodge back and through the attack.
At around half health, the larger Godskin duo will transform, multiplying in size and sometimes rolling around the arena.
The rolling attack, where the boss positions itself to the side, is really hard to dodge, and it’s honestly a better idea to just interrupt the attack and run as far away from the boss as possible during this phase, to avoid getting heavy damage.
Regarding the second of the Godskin Duo, this one carries a scytheand if you’ve defeated Apostle Godskin on the Atlus plateau, you have a good idea of what awaits you here.
Primarily, this Godskin Duo strikes in rapid motion, slinking with the scythe and leaping into the air after a brief pause to drop the weapon. You want to dodge both attacks, dodging back while they’re moving.
Much like the other Godskin Duo, this one also transforms when it reaches half health, transforming into a slinky that spans the battlefield.
Beware of this Godskin enemy who imbues his scythe with black fire, as he is about to spin multiple times and unleash a huge area attack. Back away from the boss in this phase, preferably sprinting if you can.
Otherwise, you’ll need to dodge the boss’ stretch attacks during this phase, which may see him dash forward with his top half to attack with the scythe.
If the boss has his scythe pointed towards the ground, it’s a knife attack which is followed by a slice of his lower half, while the alternative will see the boss turn his scythe, both of which you should move away from .

Godskin Duo Reward
The Godskin Duo fight rewards you with 170,000 runes, which is actually less than the fire giant fight that preceded it, for some reason.
You’ll also get the Smithing-Stone Miner’s Ball Bearing, which can be given to Twin Maiden Husks at the Round Table, and the Ashes of War: Black Flame Tornado.
