The Tony Hawk development studio Vicarious Visions is now part of Blizzard Entertainment, where existing projects are supported.
Vicarious Visions are no more. The developer studio belonging to Activision has now officially merged with Blizzard Entertainment.
However, it will retain its location in Albany, New York. They will continue to work on existing Blizzard games and experiences.
The restructuring had been known since January 2021. The 200 employees had known about the project for a long time.
Vicarious Visions was known for popular game series like Tony Hawk Pro Skater, Skylanders, Guitar Hero, Crash Bandicoot and more.
