Bethesda launcher will migrate to Steam on April 27

April, Bethesda, Launcher, migrate, Steam

Bethesda has announced a date for migrating its launcher to Steam, which, as the title states, will happen on April 27.

As previously announced, Bethesda is getting rid of its launcher and moving everything over to Valve’s Steam service.

This means you’ll be able to migrate your PC games and Wallets to your Steam account.

You won’t lose anything from your Bethesda.net account, and many game saves are migrated, some of which require manual transfers. For games that require it, you will still be logged in with your Bethesda.net login to play the game. Your Bethesda.net account will not be lost and will remain accessible on the website and in-game.

You can still access and play games on the Bethesda.net Launcher until May, but Bethesda recommends that you start the migration process as soon as it becomes available, as the Bethesda.net Launcher will no longer be available on May 11th.

Additionally, games with a Bethesda.net friend list will be merged after migration. This includes Fallout 76, Doom Eternal, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, The Elder Scrolls: Legends, Rage 2, and Deathloop.

For a full rundown of migration expectations, you will want to read the FAQ if you haven’t already. If you’re a Fallout 76 player, you may want to check out the game’s specific FAQs.
