The cost of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max could be higher than expected.
Apple’s new iPhone generation is expected to be released towards the end of the year. With the iPhone 14, we can expect some changes in the various models, but also a completely new iPhone. The iPhone mini will probably be set for this. The first rumors now indicate what the individual models could cost.
The rumors come from the leaker Leaks Apple Pro, which specializes in leaks and rumors of the company. On Twitter and in a blog article he explains why he thinks the prices are realistic.
According to its sources, the production costs of the iPhones have increased, which mainly affects the iPhone 14 Max and 14 Pro. The 14 Max is a larger version of the iPhone 14. Max is intended to replace the iPhone mini in the next generation. The prices could look like this:

The iPhone 14 will therefore cost the same as the iPhone 13 at launch. The 14 Pro and Pro Max each increase in price by $100. The iPhone 14 Max, on the other hand, has no direct predecessor and starts at $899.

In the tweet, the leaker says that prices may increase due to increased production costs, but the iPhone 14 will get the same starting price as its predecessor. In the blog article he explains why he thinks this is realistic.
