One has been tagged A new era in the Pokémon Trading Card Game announces the first expansion of the Sword and Shield series. Inspired by video games Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, this expansion introduces a new mechanic to Pokémon JCC: Pokémon VMAX. Pokémon VMAX comes from Pokémon V and includes Pokémon Dinamax or Gigamax, which will allow players to collect cards such as Snorlax VMAX and Lapras VMAX, both with their own Gigamax modes.
The JCC Pokémon Sword and Shield expansion includes:
- More than 50 Pokémon come from the Galar region
- 17 Pokémon V and 12 Pokémon V with graphics covering the entire card, including Zacian V and Zamazenta V
- 4 VMAX Pokémon, including Snorlax VMAX and VMAX Lapras
- Over 30 Coach Cards, including 4 support cards with graphics covering the entire card
- 1 new Special Energy card
