SNK has continued to work hard after the release of The King of Fighters XV and has now released another free DLC character.
Anyone who plays the current brawl game The King of Fighters XV can now download a free fighter again. With Omega Rugal, SNK Corporation is giving the title, which was only released in February, a new DLC character.
Omega Rugal is no newcomer to the long-running franchise, having appeared in The King of Fighters ’95. There he had appeared as a strong boss opponent; this time he has found his way into the fighting game series as a fighter.
A cruel arms dealer who once dominated the black market, he would not shy away from sinking his fangs into any fighter who dared challenge him. He was restored to life by the power of Orochi until a group of brave warriors ended his reign. Now, thanks to Verse’s influence, he has returned to the mortal world to seek revenge.
Besides the character, there is also a new game mode called “Boss Challenge” in the new download for the game. Here you have to defeat the Omega Rugal CPU and get access to fun content like a special armor costume, a new stage and new music.
Including the already released and upcoming paid DLC fighters, there are 13 additional protagonists for the game this year alone.
