The iPhone 13 was released on September 24, 2021. The new Apple cell phone has been on the market for a few months now and is now only available from the manufacturer at a suggested retail price of 799 dollars.
You can already secure the Apple cell phone at a much lower price from other dealers. The current Apple generations are no longer as stable in price as previous models, and so the iPhone 13 can also be found again and again at a discount. The Apple iPhone 13 mini with 128 gigabytes of storage is available from Amazon for 724.99 dollars. A good price, Apple itself still asks 799 dollars. Note, however, that it should take a month or two before the cell phone is shipped. at Saturn the iPhone 13 mini is offered for EUR 729.99 and is immediately available. The prices of other dealers start from 738.85 dollars.

With 128 gigabytes of storage, the iPhone 13 is available from Mindfactory for 788.97 dollars. Apple specifies the recommended retail price at 899 dollars, while other retailers are currently charging at least 20 dollars more.

Who is the iPhone 13 (Pro) suitable for?
As we can confirm through our review of the iPhone 13, it is again a top phone. However, even with a discount, the prices are relatively steep. Therefore, before you buy, you should consider whether an iPhone 12 is not enough for you. The price of the iPhone 12 has already fallen significantly compared to that of its successor. In addition, the differences between the two cell phones are limited.

Apple iPhone 13: models in comparison
With the A15 Bionic, the iPhone 13 has an even more powerful processor than the iPhone 12, but since the A14 Bionic also has a lot of power to offer, this is hardly noticeable. You don’t have to do without 5G on either of the two cell phones. The larger differences are in the cameras and the battery.
Biggest differences in the Pro models
The normal iPhone 13 has a battery life of up to 19 hours. Up to 22 hours are possible with the Pro and the Pro Max can even be used for up to 28 hours before it has to be plugged in again. The mini version has also grown considerably and can be operated for up to 17 hours. Depending on the model, the iPhone 12 wears out after 15 to 20 hours.
However, the differences in the camera should only really be noticeable in the Pro versions. The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max have been equipped with a macro mode.
The iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 as well as the mini versions, on the other hand, use a 12-megapixel dual camera with a wide and ultra wide-angle sensor. At least the sensor of the successor has been enlarged so that better shots are possible in the twilight.
Alternatives to the Apple iPhone 13
In addition to the iPhone 12, the iPhone 11 is also worth considering. The differences to the latest Apple smartphone are significantly greater here, but you can also save more on the purchase.
