Far behind were the server issues that plagued the remastering of the everlasting Diablo 2. a feat for a remaster and a fact that reveals what this Blizzard game meant.
The community support for Diablo 2: Resurrected is even more valid when you take into account that the game came after the very unsuccessful experiment that was Warcraft III Reforged, but, beyond the reception, the Diablo remastered second part has grown with the support of the developers, in fact, a new update arrived a few days ago which includes a new system and many new exciting features.
Diablo 2: Resurrected celebrates and approaches Diablo 3
If we compare the sales of this remaster with Diablo III, we will see that the numbers favor the more recent production if we take into account that the third part of Diablo it took about two years to sell 15 million copies considering all platforms.
The future of Diablo 2: Resurrected is bright, not only because of Blizzard’s takeover by Microsoft, but also because of the merger between Vicarious Visions (co-creator of the game) and Blizzard to form a company called Blizzard Albany whose mission is “long-term support” to all Blizzard titles exclusively.
