phobia There’s an update that lets players go on a small Easter egg hunt while hunting for ghosts.
Friday (April 15), Kinetic Games Patch notes for the latest update to Phasmophobia have been released. According to the notes, every location in the game now has “several Easter eggs to hunt and find!” Players can track how many eggs they have left under the truck’s map image, and if you manage to find all the eggs, each Sanity of team members will be restored to 100%. However, if you’re desperate for an oval snack, you’ll want to start racing as soon as possible, as the event only runs until April 19th.
The patch also adds some fixes and changes to the game, as well as a small new feature. There is now a visual indicator for both PC (bottom left) and VR (belt) when using the toggle voice. A sensible change is the increased brightness of CCTV night vision in prisons. And the VR grip position has been optimized for all devices, aligning the hand model with the player’s controller.
The patch also contains many general fixes. These include bugs such as the CCTV camera number in the truck wasn’t updated, the Willow hiding point would still block the level, and the ghost couldn’t interact with one of the paintings.
Recently, Phasmophobia received a massive VR overhaul. The overhaul now means support for all major VR headsets, implementation of various options for grabbing items, and there’s also a VR seated mode. With a recent update to VR and an Easter egg patch, players can combine two of the best vacations in what may be the most unexpected crossover of the year.
