Google Discover has become many people’s favorite application for reading the news of the day, or discovering articles related to their interests. Unsurprisingly, Google collects hundreds of pieces of data from us precisely to provide us with content that may be of interest to us.
But in addition to this news list function, the application integrated into all Android mobiles had a very useful section that served almost as a daily agenda, where we had reminders, the weather, as well as other useful tools. Until now.
Daily View disappears from Discover
As announced, Google has decided to remove this feature from the Discover app, leaving only News as the featured feature. It was the last memory we had of Google Now, a much-loved app a few years ago that served as the unifying element for many of our interactions with the phone.
Esperemos que esta vista de agenda, por así decir, se integre en otras aplicaciones. Quizás en el calendario tenga sentido dado que se mostraban predominantemente cumpleaños, citas, información del tiempo, etc.
No obstante, si no os interesa tener esta sección en vuestro móvil siempre ha sido posible desactivar Discover de nuestro teléfono.
