Nintendo has announced release dates for both Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Splatoon 3 this week. And now, to add to this, the file sizes have also seemingly been revealed via its official website. We’ve got the size of Nintendo Switch Sportstoo.
So, what are we looking at for each game? Here’s how much room you’ll need to make if you do choose the digital versions.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – 15.0GB
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is around 15.0GB in size. In comparison, the base game of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was about 13.2GB. The first game on Nintendo Switch is about 13.7GB.
Splatoon 3 – 6.0GB
Splatoon 3 is close to the second game which was 6.1GB. The first Splatoon game on Wii U was just 1.8GB around the time of release.
Nintendo Switch Sports – 1.4GB
Nintendo Switch Sports will be around 1.4GB at launch (April 29th, but there are already additional free content updates planned that will allow players to play the game “Soccer” with the Leg Strap accessory. Golf will also be added in the future.
As usual, these file sizes are subject to change ahead of the official releases of each game. Even if they aren’t dead on the launch game sizes, they should at least be some kind of indication how much room each title will require.
