Techland has just announced in a press release that Dying Light 2 Stay Human sold 5 million copies in its first month of life. The study also added that the numbers continue to grow significantly as the days go by.
They also provided information about sales of dying light original, released in 2015, amassed over 20 million copies since then. Techland CEO Pawel Marchewka stated the following: “The success of the franchise dying light is a great example of the unforgettable experiences we create for our players”.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human was released on February 4 on Xbox Series X/S, One, PS4/5 and PC. The title also had a very powerful launch adding 3 million players in its first weekendas we commented on them here. Since the game has been continuously updated, including new parkour challenges, weapons and various equipment, as well as bug fixes.
The game also plans to add more content with the first story expansion set to release in June.. This extension, out of curiosity, will not take place after the end of the game, but at another point in the story.
