Bill and Ted save the universe: Nobody really expected that. After nearly 30 years, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter return in their iconic roles as Bill and Ted in the continuation of their film series of the same name. After one journey into the past and one into the future, the two goofy wannabe musicians must save the universe (again).

This time, Bill and Ted don’t have to do this alone, because they are supported by their respective daughters Thea (Samara Weaving) and Billie (Brigette Lundy-Payne). As the original American title – Bill and Ted Face the Music – reveals, music once again plays an important role in the story, in fact it has to ultimate song created to save the universe.

Shazam! Movies based on DC’s comics don’t always have to be dark. The film by director David F. Sandberg is the best proof of this. Shazam revolves around the eponymous superhero (Zachary Levi), who actually seems a little too young to fight crime. Because Billy is actually only 14 years old (portrayed by Asher Angel), but with the help of a magic word he transforms into the adult hero Shazam.

So meet in Shazam! two worlds collide and the result is a pretty light-footed superhero film (at least by DC standards) that fits into the same universe of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. By the way, a sequel, Fury of the Gods, is already in the works and is scheduled to hit theaters on December 16, 2022.
