Capcom announced a monster hunter rises Upcoming Live sunscreen DLC.
Announced on Official Monster Hunter twitter accountwhich will feature “exciting new game info, monsters, and more!” at the next Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak digital event, which is scheduled for May 10 at 3pm BST/4pm CET , will be hosted by director Yoshitake Suzuki.
Other than what was mentioned in the tweet, there are very few details in terms of what we can expect from the event. Last month Capcom did confirm that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak would release on June 30. During that broadcast, some new details about the DLC were revealed.
Sunbreak’s story will begin with the Kamura Village defense of Rampage, which ends in the main game. When word of this surviving spreads, Knight Dame Fiorayne seeks you out and takes you to the Elgado Outpost. There, you’ll find a laboratory that is researching the activities of the monsters that plague the kingdom, as well as a command post. You’ll also meet new characters such as Admiral Gareth of the Royal Knights, Bahari the scientist, Minayle the blacksmith, Oboro the merchant and Chichae the quest giver.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a monster hunter without new monsters, so Capcom gave us three. They are collectively known as the three Lords, known as Garangolm, Fanged Wyvern Lunagaron, and Elder Dragon Malzeno. Some variants and returning favorites will also appear like the blood orange Bishaten.
New armor sets and weapons have also been released to help players prepare for the expansion.
In addition to this, there will be some new versions of Monster Hunter Rise available. One is the standard digital edition with Sunbreak, and there will be a deluxe edition with bonus content like layered armor sets, gestures, and hairstyles. Or, if you prefer to hold the game in your hands, there’s a new version of Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak coming to the Switch.
