Supermassive Games has made good progress with its new horror game The Quarry and has now officially announced a very important development step on the way to the release.
With The Quarry, Supermassive Games wants to bring the next cinematically staged horror title onto the market – and they have now taken a very decisive step forward. Via Twitter the developer announced that the long-awaited gold status had been reached.
The spiritual successor to the earlier horror game Until Dawn follows a similar style and also features various Hollywood stars in different roles. David Arquette, Brenda Song, Justice Smith, Ariel Winter and others were involved in the cast with motion capture and voice overs.
You will then be able to see all of this in action from June 10, 2022, because with the now confirmed gold status, the development work is officially complete. The retail version is now being reproduced for sale in local shops, and experience has shown that the creators are eliminating bugs that still exist before the release date. This is often associated with the release of a day-one patch.
The Quarry will be available on June 10, 2022 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Most recently, the horror game made people sit up and take notice due to its large number of different endings; depending on the decisions you make during the game, there should be around 200 of them.
