One of the most popular video games in the world will soon be able to be enjoyed by friends regardless of whether they are on different platforms. EA announced that it plans to implement a cross-play option in FIFA 22 and is going to carry out a test open to all its players.
According to the statement, this will allow players on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Google Stadia to play against each other. What about players on PS4 and Xbox One? There is no information as to whether this option will come to the consoles of the previous generation.

How to participate in the cross-play test of FIFA 22
Once the test is active, we will find the option in the main menu of enable or disable crossplay with the R2 trigger (on PS5).
