Game news Evil Dead The Game: Bad news for the Nintendo Switch version
In less than ten days, Evil Dead: The Game, the horror game that takes over the universe of Sam Raimi, will be released on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series but not on Nintendo Switch.
Change version delayed?
Not everything goes as planned for the game Evil Dead: The Game. Even if fans will still be able to find the multiplayer experience on PC, PlayStation and Xbox in less than ten days, some will still be disappointed to learn that the Nintendo Swich version has been delayed.
While the game has already delayed its release date several times – remember, Evil Dead: The Game was originally scheduled to see the light of day in 2021 – today we learn that the Nintendo Switch version will not see the light of day after May 13th as planned. However, this was not announced by the developers. If we go to the official website of the cooperative experience, we can see that the game’s Nintendo Switch file has been modified. The release date has simply disappeared, to be replaced by a vague “coming soon”. One can only hope that this postponement is only a few days.
A cinematic experience?
With Evil Dead: The Game, Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games want to pay tribute to the cinematic saga of Sam Raimi, whose first film in 1981 revolutionized the world of horror cinema. In return, the game features a playable up to in four in cooperation campaign that will cut through demons with chainsaws, the mighty weapon already proven in four movies and one series.
That’s not all, Evil Dead: The Game also allows you to revisit famous locations and find familiar faces. Starting with Bruce Campbell, who takes on the role of Ash Williams, the hero of the franchise.
