Nintendo has released an overview trailer Mario Striker vs Leaguewhich gives you an idea of what to expect when the game launches next month.
The video is in Japanese, but even if you don’t speak the language, you can still get an idea of what’s go ing on thanks to the extensive gameplay on display.
Announced back in February, this 5v5 football-like sport lets you tackle, use items like bananas and shells, and activate special shots.
Up to eight players, with four players per team, can compete against each other on one Nintendo Switch system. In addition to individual competitions, the online competition will feature 20 players competing to become the top club in the world.
The gear you use can also have special properties, such as increased strength, you can increase your stats, and change the appearance of your gear. There is also an ability that allows you to kick the ball while you collect it on the field.
Mario Striker: Battle League launches on Nintendo Switch on June 10. Pre-orders are available through the Nintendo eShop and retailers.
