The new Dragon Ball movie hits theaters worldwide this summer.
Titled Dragon Ball Super: Superhero, the new movie will be the second Dragon Ball Super movie. The first, Dragon Ball Super: Brolywhich was released in 2018 and grossed over $120 million at the box office.
A new trailer for Dragon Ball Super: Superhero reveals some of the epic battles – in the rain! with dramatic glasses throwing! – as well as the powerful androids who have come to attack the heroes. The synopsis for the new film is as follows:
The Red Ribbon Army was once destroyed by Son Goku. Individuals who continue his spirit have created the ultimate androids Gamma 1 and Gamma 2. These two androids call themselves “superheroes”. They start attacking Piccolo and Gohan… What is the goal of the New Red Ribbon Army? With danger approaching, it’s time to wake up, superhero!
In Japan, the film will be released on June 11, but worldwide release will begin in August. Dragon Ball Super: Superhero will be available both subtitled and dubbed.
