When does Operation Monarch start and what is the date it ends in Call of Duty: Warzone?
This event will be available between Wednesday 11 and Wednesday 25 May 2022.
What is Operation Monarch?
This is not just an event in Call of Duty: Warzone, but a game mode for a limited time. We will be participating in 60-player matches in squads with ‘Resurgence’ rules. The goal is to retrieve intelligence from Monarch in supply boxes, defeated enemies, and other special forms. As we earn it, we’ll fill a meter that unlocks new gear, killstreaks, and Monarch’s new SCREAM Device..
The problem is that while we’re doing this, there will be two special guests messing around on the map.
The presence of Kong and Godzilla in the Operation Monarch event and game mode from Call of Duty changes everything. The King of Monsters will launch his deadly energy bolts that appear as red circles on the minimap after his scales begin to glow, so quickly escape as if it were an aerial bombardment.
For his part, Kong will jump around the island and can “unintentionally” crush operators and vehicles in his path. Any touch will knock a player down. However, his movement pattern is predictable.
But we don’t necessarily have to ignore them. If we attack them we can gain extra Monarch Intelligence. The problem is that at any moment one of the two titans can go into a frenzy, attacking anyone in its path.
The game will alert us when a frenzy is about to start. We can get out of their way or try to “calm them down” by attacking directly. The squad that deals the most damage to Kong or Godzilla during a Fener will receive the SCREAM device.
What does this device do? It’s basically a special killstreak for this game mode. By using it we can unleash a Godzilla energy beam or a direct attack from Kong to the place we want.
Challenges and rewards of Operation Monarch in Call of Duty: Warzone
If we complete the eight challenges we will receive the project of the Ancient Rivalry Rifle.
- Amulet ‘Ancestral Calavera’ (epic): Play Operation Monarch for 6 hours.
- Amulet ‘Ancient Remnants’ (Epic) – Use a Kong or Godzilla killstreak once.
- Amulet For Monarch Eyes Only (Rare): Use three killstreaks on Kong or Godzilla.
- ‘Concrete Jungle’ Sticker (Rare): deals 500,000 points of damage to Titans.
- ‘Team Godzilla’ Emblem (Legendary): Deals 135,000 damage to Kong during a frenzy.
- ‘Team Kong’ Emblem (Legendary): Deals 135,000 damage to Godzilla during a frenzy.
- ‘Skyscraper Breaker’ Calling Card (Epic): Get 3,000 Monarch Intelligence points.
- ‘One Shall Fall’ Spray (Epic)– Place in the Top 15 12 times in the Operation Monarch game mode.
But that’s not all, we know that there are special rewards that are obtained by facing the frenzy of Godzilla and Kong in various ways during the matches of Operation Monarch in Call of Duty: Warzone.
