Announcing the AMD RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT and RX 6650 XT Graphics Cards

AMD, announcing, cards, graphics

The RX 6950 XT will be AMD’s most powerful graphics card on the market and is specifically designed for Triple-A gaming and 4K resolutions. On the other hand, we have the RX 6750 XT, which is designed to deliver excellent performance at 1440p resolutions. Finally, we have the RX 6650 XT which is designed for gaming at 1080p resolutions.

New AMD RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT and RX 6650 XT graphics cards

These new graphics cards are based on the AMD RDNA2 architecture, which is specially designed for gaming. It aims to provide users with equipment that meets their needs. The new graphics include optimizations and improvements in terms of firmware and software. Additionally, these new graphics use AMD Infinity Cache technology for high bandwidth and extra performance.

These new graphics cards are compatible with the Microsoft Windows 11 operating system as well as the DirectX 12 Ultimate API. They also have support for FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 1.0 and also for the future FSR 2.0. It also incorporates support for scaling technologies Radeon Super Resolutionas well as other company technologies.

Technologies supporting these new graphics cards

Something AMD is working on is a software add-on to improve its graphics performance and gaming experience. We have seen how hard the company has worked to have tools comparable to those of the competition.

The main technologies and tools are:

  • AMD Adrenalin Edition Software: It is a tool designed by the company to provide the best experience to users. It offers a clean, modern and easy to use interface to access the latest features of the software. It also allows us to see game stats, get performance data, make it easier for us to update drivers and much more all in one place.
  • AMD FidelityFX Technology: Best image quality open source toolset. It is based on nine different solutions that developers can integrate into games optimized for RDNA and RDNA2 architectures. It enables maximum visual quality with minimal impact on performance. So the graphics card can provide amazing gaming experience.
  • AMD Smart Access Memory (SAM) Technology: Such technology allows AMD Ryzen processors to exploit the memory potential of graphics cards. Allows the processor to access all memory on the graphics card using PCIe bandwidth, eliminating bottlenecks and increasing performance. It only supports Ryzen 5000 and RX 6000 processors, as well as a few Ryzen 3000 processors.
  • AMD Infinity Cache Technology: New state-of-the-art data caching solution integrated into the GPU chip. It is designed to reduce latency and power consumption. It is a solution that can help you get better gaming performance than other designs.

These graphics cards will not arrive alone

The new RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT and RX 6650 XT graphics cards will not arrive alone. Shortly after its launch, more precisely on May 12, the first game with official support for AMD FSR 2.0 will be released. This will be the title DEATHLOOP developed by Arkane Studios and Bethesda.

Later, FSR 2.0 will arrive in games like Asterigos, Delysium, EVE Online, Farming Simulator 22, Forspoken, Grounded, Microsoft Flight Simulator, NiShuiHan, Perfect World Remake, Swordsman Remake, and Unknown 9: Awakening.

The return of Radeon Raise the Game Bundle is also announced. This program provides purchasers of eligible RX 6000 series products with access to free games. Those who purchase RX 6000 products on or after May 10 and qualify will receive a promotional code at a later date. This code will give you access to Saints Row and Sniper Elite 5 games. In addition, new games will be added later.
