Warzone best UGR loadout, class setup and how to unlock UGR

Class, loadout, setup, UGR, Unlock, Warzone

the UGR has been added to war zone shortly after Pacific Season 3 launches in 2022.

This is a Cold War SMG with a competitive time to kill (TTK), but with a few downsides that make it difficult to use in a practical sense.

Although the UGR hits hard, it is held back by its small 30 mag size (although you can expand it to 36 with a specific mag attachment).

With that in mind, we recommend sticking to Solos or Duos if you plan on using this weapon in Warzone, as you’ll likely run out of ammo quickly each time.

How to Unlock UGR in Warzone and Cold War

To unlock the UGR, you must get an elimination on an enemy revealed by a spy plane, drone or field mic in 15 different matches.

This can be done in Warzone or Cold War, so play whatever game you’re most comfortable with.

It’s worth noting that you can leave a Warzone match to continue progressing towards this challenge, which makes it much easier to obtain.

Best to try this one in Plunder as it’s easier to get your hands on a UAV in this type of match than in standard Battle Royale mode.

Warzone best UGR loadout and attachments

Below is our recommended UGR build for Warzone:

  • Muzzle: GRU suppressor
  • Barrel: 10.7-inch workgroup
  • Laser: Spotlight on Team Tiger
  • Optical: Microflex LEDs
  • Store: KGB Skeleton Stock

The construction of the UGR is virtually the same as other Cold War SMGs, prioritizing speeds and rapid sight (ADS) mobility, while managing some recoil control.

First, start with the GRU suppressor Muzzle, giving you sound suppression, vertical recoil control, improved bullet speed, and better damage range.

It hurts your ADS speeds slightly, so if that’s a major issue for you, switch to the sound suppressor.

Then equip the Task Force Cannon for improved damage range, bullet speed, and strafing speed. To improve your movement speed, we advise you to use the Tiger Team Projector Laserwhich is standard for SMG versions.

We also recommend using an optic such as the Microflex LEDshowever, you can choose whichever you are most comfortable with.

Just note that you don’t need a lot of zoom as this is mainly for close up use. Complete the build with the KGB Skeleton Stock for better ADS firing speed and fast firing times.

You will notice that this version does not include a larger magazine size, which is a major downside overall.

There is an additional type of magazine you can use, Explosive Darts, which increase ammo capacity to 36 rounds while dealing explosive damage.

However, this attachment actually hurts your ADS and reload speeds, so we don’t recommend using it, especially since it only gives you an extra 6 rounds.

Best Warzone UGR Class Setup, Perks & Gear

Here are the recommended perks and gear to create the best UGR class setup in Warzone:

  • Advantage 1: Quick Fix (unlocks at level 42)
  • Advantage 2: Tempered (unlocks at level 1)
  • Advantage 3: Amped (unlocks at level 1)
  • Secondary: AMP 63 (kill 5 enemies in 20 different matches using pistols)
  • Mortal: Molotov cocktail (unlocked at level 10)
  • Tactical: Stims (unlocks at level 47)

As always, we recommend using Quick Fix as a first perk so you can immediately start health regeneration after getting an elimination or applying an armor plate.

Then we advise to use Temperate, which allows you to achieve full armor using only two plates instead of three. This, when combined with Quick Fix, can have a huge impact on firefights.

Finally, we strongly recommend that you use amplified for your third perk slot, so you can move up to your secondary more quickly. This is especially useful since the UGR only has 30 rounds by default.

As for your secondary, it’s best to pick up a long-range assault rifle or sniper along the way, but for your loadout needs, we’d recommend the CHA 63an automatic submachine gun with a fast kill time.

As far as equipment is concerned, it’s a good idea to bring Molotov Cocktails with you as they deal a large amount of splash damage.

We also suggest using Stimulates so you can immediately start health regeneration with a speed boost, which can also be used to reset your health when you’re in the gas.
